We are looking for an experienced _**Quality Coordinator**_ to join a growing team in Toronto office for the Ontario Line / RSSOM project. You will be part of the Connect6ix team, that is passionate about meeting the expectations of the local and international markets.

**Mission**:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Coordinator shall be responsible for the inspecting and testing activities for the construction of specific infrastructure on the project.

**ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the end-to-end implementation and preparation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all construction activities.
- Performs on-site quality inspections in accordance with project requirements
- Inspects work in progress and / or completed to determine and ensure that the work complies with the standards and specifications
- Review QA/QC sampling, testing of construction materials for acceptance and conformance with specifications and standards.
- Participated in-house audit, performed supplier audit, maintained various quality submittals of subs, including various quality management plans & processes, collected QA deliverables, compiled individual reports, and maintained monthly KPI
- Assists with the implementation and maintenance of quality programs as required
- Assists with the preparation and verification of various technical reports; including pre
- and post-inspection
- Identifies and reports work that does not meet the quality requirements
- Collaborates with the project team to determine approaches & methods to improve the overall quality of work
- Completes all associated documentation and forms for individual inspection
- Participates in the development and maintenance of a cost of quality tracking system
- Assist with the tracking of non-conformance reports and corrective/ preventative action requests

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- S. Sc. Civil, Engineering, Architecture or related disciplines, or equivalent combination of education andexperience
- Basic ISO 9001 training
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Bridge, Highway, Buildings or other major Infrastructure project construction
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality assurance role
- Quality certification is an asset
- Computer literate in MS Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Familiar with inspection techniques related to the construction industry
- Proven ability to take initiative and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the English language (Reading, speaking and writing)

PREFERRED SKILLS
- Involvement in at least one LRT related project

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
