As Advisor, International Trade Financing, you will provide administrative support to Desjardins components and help administer specialized products and member/client accounts.

You will serve as an advisor and coach for dedicated clients and partners as part of various significant intervention and development mandates in your field. You will propose solutions for improving or optimizing standards, policies and programs. The nature of the files and projects will require in-depth expertise in your field of activity.

You will develop recommendations, solutions and action plans in line with the organization’s orientations and objectives. You will help the team solve complex problems that require analysis and in-depth understanding of the line of business. Coordination is critical, and you will interact with various stakeholders who work in complementary fields of expertise. As such, you will need highly developed interpersonal skills.

General Information on the Position

More specifically, you will act as a resource person for the import/export sector. You will process and assess requests for letters of credit and letters of guarantee, prepare files and models, and integrate client data. You will collaborate in or perform work, monitoring tasks and analyses for import and export documentary collection. You will also verify timelines on a daily basis, collect related fees and commissions, prepare correspondence and supporting documents, and prepare and enter and foreign currency contracts and accounting entries. You will initiate and follow up on requests from caisses, clients and/or foreign correspondents.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or in a related field- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
