**Seasonal Rope Access Window Cleaner**

Love working at heights? We have a great outdoor seasonal job opportunity for climbers, ski-bums, travellers, or for someone looking for something new. This position is great for university students, ski-bums, or snowbirds. The ideal applicant must be comfortable working outdoors and at heights in a challenging and evolving atmosphere. Being able to work as part of a team is crucial. Work hours may vary due variations in weather (high winds, rain, etc.), so flexibility is key.

As a rope access technician, the primary responsibilities will be window cleaning of condominium and commercial properties. Additional responsibly will include the use of water-fed poles, pressure washing equipment, ladders, and man-lifts.

All training is paid for and provided by Off The Ledge Inc. (OTL).

**Requirements**:

- Valid Alberta driver’s license and transportation method.
- IRATA or SPRAT preferred (not required).
- Exceptional verbal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
- Excellent problem solving, adaptability and time management skills.
- Exhibit a safety-consciousness mindset and a professional work ethic.
- Physically fit, able to ascend and descend ladders.
- Able to comfortably lift 50lbs.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conduct and participate in FLHAs, tailgate meetings, and equipment inspections.
- Window cleaning, eavestrough cleaning, and pressure cleaning.
- Use ladders, water fed poles and pressure washing equipment in populated areas.
- Conduct work from the ground, ladders, roofs, man-lifts, and ropes.

**Employment Type**:

- Full-time seasonal employment, May 1st - August 31st (student opportunity).
- Full-time seasonal employment, May 1st - October 31st.

**Work Area**:

- Edmonton and the surrounding municipalities.

**Salary**:

- $20 (training) - $40 per hour (based on relative experience).
- Paid overtime.
- Year-end bonuses.

**Daily Schedule**:

- Monday - Friday with the potential for weekend work.
- 8 - 10 hours a day.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4-6 months

**Salary**: $24.00-$45.00 per hour
