Primary Responsibilities

1. Unloads and transports inbound materials to appropriate place in the warehouse with a forklift truck.

2. Verifies accuracy of inbound shipments by receiving and then matching them to packing slip. Refers discrepancies to Purchaser & Operations Manager

3. Receives material into ERP system accurately

4. Assesses quantities of materials and advises Purchaser of low stock situations.

5. Provides purchasers with door and sheet good requirements and time frame.

6. Maintains work area by keeping it clean and organized.

7. Inspects forklift and workspaces and advises maintenance of problems.

8. Prepares Sheet and Door orders for delivery

9. Follows two signature process for all picked orders

10. Serves walk-in customers for all sheet, doors and other material located in their area.

11. Loads all trucks for next day deliveries.

NOTE: May be assigned other responsibilities based on the needs of customers or the business.

Skills Required

1. Forklift certification required.

2. Product knowledge - of wood species and profiles

3. Organizational skills - must be able to prioritize and also to keep work environment clean and safe

4. Customer service skills - responsiveness ad courtesy in responding to customer inquiries ad pick-ups

5. Basic math skills - calculate lengths

6. Accuracy - administrative tasks require attention to detail

Measures of Success

1. Keeps accurate record of inbound shipments

2. Responds quickly and resolves any customer problems

3. Adheres to Brenlo’s operating and safety standards

4. Produces work of quality and accuracy
- no complaints or mistakes

5. Timeliness of work completed

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
