The **warehouse support role is critical**to **Atlantic Express Canada**because you will be preparing orders to be delivered to our clients. You will be receiving, preparing and loading: packages, vehicles, boats, and goods of all kind into the shipping containers.

**What you'll be working on**:

- Package boxes onto pallets (55 LB/25 Kg per box on average)
- Operate a wireless handheld barcode scanner
- Prepare cargo for sea and air shipment
- Load and brace cargo into a sea shipping container
- Document incoming and outgoing cargo
- Keep the working area clean and neat

**Required Skills & Qualification**:

- Permanent resident or Canadian citizen (permitted to work in Canada)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35kg) without assistance
- Drivers license (would be considered an asset)
- Proficiency in English: speak, read and write
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Responsible and attend to details
- Team player with positive attitude
- Punctuality and good time management
- Forklift certificate (would be considered an asset)
- Warehouse experience (would be considered an asset)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles and staying longer than the usual shift hours depending on the operational needs and shipment volume

**Working Conditions**:

- Exposed to changing/extreme temperatures while working in a warehouse environment and outdoors.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
