Casual, part-time to follow my schedule that I have available.

**Duties**:

- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, assisting to outings, shopping and doctors appointments.
- Assist with toileting and positioning clients, when comfortable and needed.
- Perform house keeping and daily living tasks, such as cleaning, dishes, laundry and tidying up living spaces.
- Help Prepare meals and assist with eating Prep.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to client
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Assist with family members when needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a care worker or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices.
- Ability to communicate with client when a problem arises
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to work your scheduled shift without abandoning your client.

- Val Caron, ON P3N 1A5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- health care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
