**This job is only suitable for a female position at this time as personal care would be performed.**

**Personal Care includes ( assisting with showering, getting dress, hair care, **assisting **in washroom, feeding, meal preps, **appointmentsetc**)**
- we are hiring _full time _staff, and _part time

**Duties**:

- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, assisting to outings, shopping and doctors appointments.
- Assist with toileting and positioning clients, when comfortable and needed.
- Perform house keeping and daily living tasks, such as cleaning, dishes, laundry and tidying up living spaces.
- Help Prepare meals and assist with eating Prep.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to client
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Assist with family members when needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a care worker or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices.
- Ability to communicate with client when a problem arises
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to work your scheduled shift without abandoning your client.
