Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager at ESSC, the Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Marketing and Special Events team, with a high focus on Social Media and Digital Marketing. This role is key to supporting the achievement of our organizational goals and ensuring we offer the best Adult Recreational Sports leagues across Alberta.

The Marketing Coordinator job is an exciting full-time, contract position for 12-13 months.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Marketing (50%)**
- Work alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to execute social media strategy.
- Create and manage the social media calendar, schedule posts and monitor relevant news and content
- Publish paid ad content on various digital platforms inclusive of Meta, Google, Spotify, SnapChat and TikTok
- Work with Graphic Designer to create appealing visual content
- Capture ongoing content for Facebook and Instagram stories
- Respond to message inquiries
- Track key metrics such as audience engagement, impressions, reach and conversions
- Assist in creating print material for leagues and tournaments

**Tournaments and Events (30%)**
- Lead role in executing Speed Dating events
- Support Special Events team in the execution of tournaments and events.
- Tournament preparation and wrap-up (player correspondence, paperwork, equipment packing, website updates, etc.)
- Assist in running tournaments and events, as needed

**Administrative Support (20%)**
- Administrative support for the Corporate Program
- Assist in the execution of custom Corporate events
- Relationship management
- Integrate teams in Corporate leagues
- Build cold call lists
- Administrative support for Partnerships Program
- Invoicing
- Analytics tracking
- Partner onboarding and removal
- Content collection

**Key Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Previous social media and digital marketing experience is an asset
- Previous event experience is an asset
- High level of computer competence with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Past ESSC experience and/or sports background is an asset

**Hours**:

- A typical work week will consist of 5 days/week, 40-44 hours total.
- Hours will be a combination of weekday work (in the office) and occasional weekend / weeknight work (onsite)

**Compensation**:
**Rate of Pay**:

- $45,000 Annual Salary
