**Your Opportunity**:
The Program Manager with the Tertiary & Residential Services Program will provide inspired leadership and administrative oversight to the three streams of service - addiction, mental health and concurrent disorders. The Program Manager will provide strategic leadership to ensure that patients/clients are offered a high quality of specialized recovery focused care based on evidence informed practice. The Program Manager will ensure that programs including patients/ clients within the Tertiary & Residential Service Programs which will be delivered in accordance with Addiction and Mental Health Principles of Care.

**Description**:
This Program Manager position supports 3 inpatient units at AHE, the community-based COAST team and 3 ASPIRE residential homes in the community. Patients admitted onto these units have a degree of illness and behavioral instability that requires a highly securable environment and a workforce that is skilled in the treatment & stabilization of highly acute illness. Key activities of the Program Manager include recruitment, orientation & training, ensuring clinical practice is reflective of AHS policy (observation, restraint as a last resort, standardized risk assessments, CoACT, etc), implementation of OBP initiatives, adherence to collective agreements and ensuring that all staff are working to a full scope of practice. Staff scheduling for both planned and unplanned absences with attention to fiscal constraints. The PM acts as a liaison between patients/families and Physicians to address concerns and provide system navigation. Key internal & external partners that this position would have regular engagement with include our Psychiatrists and OPG /OPT, WHS, IPC, Protective Services and the rest of the AHE site. With Connect Care implementation scheduled for spring 2023, the PM is responsible for completing the readiness playbook, this includes assessing the team’s readiness, communicating information relevant to the work they do and tracking progress as they approach implementation for their wave.

**Required Qualifications**:
Degree or diploma in a health related field. 5 years’ experience in a leadership position. Current registration with professional association (if applicable). Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Able to work well on a team. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals. Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects, and deliver customer-focused results. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services.
