_**Sales Strategies and Sales Plans Development and Accountabilities for the Sales Performance**_
- Collaborate with AFD Executives in developing sales strategies and tactics consistent with AFD business strategies and operation objectives.
- Develop sales plans to maximum sales productivity of production capacity as well as considering strategic customer priorities. Administer the sales plan implementation and communicate any changes with the interested departments.
- Oversee all activities in the full-cycle sales process. Be accountable for sales revenue achievement and sales expenses control.
- Review sales performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels. Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
- Formulate all sales department related policies, practices and procedures.
- **Sales Process Management**_
- Make recommendations on strategy and method to expand the database of prospective clients.
- Identify customer needs and preferences.Accurately provide details of products. Gather information and requirement internally and externally to create proposals/ quotations for prospect, new and existing clients.
- Present the proposals/quotations for prospective clients; emphasize product features and benefits and erase any concerns.
- Negotiate credit terms, sales prices, discounts, delivery time, and prepare sales order reports.
- Ensure accurate and complete customer information is gathered and recorded in an account management system.
- Ensure information management compliance for provincial and federal Information and Privacy Acts (PIPA, FOIP).
**- **Follow up with clients/vendors as may be required on service delivery, quality and satisfaction to ensure that contracted obligations are met. Ensure issues are identified or resolved and provide **effective communication about returns, exchanges, order changes and requirements.**
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships; maintain accounts, resolve issues and provide technical advice, training and support for clients.
**- Provide superior customer service throughout the sales process to ensure continued and future sales. Ensure that client orders are processed accurately and work to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded. Collect payment as required.**
- Handle customer complaint, product return and recall. Provide feedback and suggestion from customers on products and services and market conditions to related departments and AFD management team.
- Maintain sales materials/documentation/data and up-to-date knowledge on all products and services.
- Manage sales channels including potential conflicts of interest, control price and expenditures, analyze market and sale expenses.
**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- A degree in Business or Marketing related fields, with a minimum of five years of sales experience ideally in pet, or feed, or food-related industry. Experience or knowledge in handling wholesale vendor systems will be an asset.
- Strengths in planning, organizing, prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
- Ability to understand and interpret customer needs and requirements and drive the sales activities direction considering AFD strategic business objectives.
- Collaborative approach and able to effectively manage sales cycle for large sales volume.
- Good analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Reliable, dependable and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to negotiate at senior levels, persuade, influence and drive sales activities.
- An effective communicator with excellent written and verbal, presentation and interaction skills with strong customer service focus and excellent client management skills.
- Critical thinking skills, for good judgment, decision making, collaboration and problem-solving.
- Energetic, self-starter, and able to work independently as well as on a team basis.
- Experienced in MS Office is required, CRM and other related software tools preferred.
- Bilingual - Mandarin/English or working in multi culture environment are preferred but not required.
