**Position Overview**

In this role you will have an opportunity to lead an IT team to deliver exceptional quality of service to our internal staff and market leading support to our global user community. Departments of Transportation and National Road Authorities use our product, dTIMS, to manage their roads, bridges, tunnels, and infrastructure assets. They use it for planning, business analysis, business intelligence, and operations management. Our goal is to continue developing deep and successful client relationships by providing the cutting-edge software tools they need.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- **Market-leading support for our internal and external users**
- Work with the Client Experience team to ensure that all user support requests are managed within SLA and IT roles in support are clearly defined and owned
- Lead the Deighton IT service ensuring a quality customer experience for all our global staff. Ensuring IT equipment is effectively managed, replaced and supported for both individual staff and our global offices.
- Lead on the compliance of our environments to required client standards, including all data, hosted environment, data centre and infrastructure security aspects
- Lead on security for Deighton ensuring our cloud and physical IT assets are secure and that we understand, monitor, and manage the security/cyber risks the business faces
- **Setting new standards and driving change**
- Review the current status of the IT service and proactively suggest required changes; developing a plan to deliver with the Director - Information Office
- Leading and supporting our team through any changes required and acting across the business to communicate and collaborate effectively in change delivery
- Work with the Director - Information Office to plan and deliver ISO27001 certification and other associated standards.
- Managing our IT assets for best value, a clear understanding of hardware and software costs at both a department and individual level - holds the lead in suggesting efficiencies, savings, and service enhancements
- Be a source of new ideas based on your continued professional development and knowledge of industry trends and changes
- **Growing and developing our team**
- Support IT related projects across the business, both directly and by empowering the team to do more, such as:

- Business development with RFP and technical questions about our IT environments, hosting and SaaS offers
- Project Execution in the development of standard processes for dTIMS deployment and related client services
- Work with the Director - Information Office to build Deighton’s Information Office and teams supporting business growth and targets
- Lead and develop our team, supporting staff in their career progression and ensuring department performance to targets
