**Equipment Operator**
Reporting to the Team Leader - Roads and Fleet and under the general direction of the Division Leader - Roads, Parks and Facilities and the Corporate Leader - Operations, the Equipment Operator is responsible for performing a variety of tasks including construction, maintenance, snow/ice removal, maintenance and repair services, and general labour duties for the Public Works Services Division.
**Some Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills required include**:
- Grade 12 Diploma
- DZ license with a clean drivers abstract
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in snow removal
- Knowledge and aptitude in the operation of a variety of construction equipment including but not limited to trucks, graders, and tractor loader/backhoe
- Working knowledge of WHMIS, OHSA, and health and safety policies and procedures
**Salary**: $31.24-$32.93 per hour
