**Role overview**
Responsible for safely setting-up die cutting machines based on docket specifications and operating the press to produce good quality product. Maintains a safe work area while maintaining optimal productivity. Operates PHP, semi-automatic, and push board machines. Performs routine maintenance on die cutting equipment. Assists Machine Adjusters in preparing envelope machines for production. Opens Paper, retrieves window film and glue as needed.
**Functions**
- Operate a paper guillotine
- Set up and adjust the machines according to the specifications necessary for the production according to the cutting formats to be produced
- Cut sheets of printed paper according to cuts appropriate to production needs
- Inspect cuts during production
- Place the cutouts on the pallets
- Work with different tools (manual, mechanical, hydraulic or others)
- Perform all other related tasks
**Requirements and skills**
- Attention to detail and good sense of observation
- Dynamic, responsible, punctual and hardworking
- Efficient and organized
- Work while standing
- Ability to read measuring devices (Inches)
- Be able to work alone or in a team and in a safe manner
- Respect the different production rules and procedures
- All other related tasks
**Working conditions**
- Complete training will be given on site.
- Monday to Friday from 6h00 to 2h30
- The salary range varies from $ 18.09 to $ 28.00 per hour depending on training and salary progression.
