Davidson Powerline Construction Ltd. is seeking experienced Foreman and Operators for permanent, full-time positions.

We are also seeking shallow utility laborers with valid driver’s licenses and reliable transportation for permanent, full-time positions. On the job training will be provided

→Foreman - Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role and 5 years experience in shallow utilities or related industry. Must be able to read blueprints, knowledge of trenching, pulling cable and conduit. Operate in a safe manner according to Davidson polices and procedures. Critical problem-solving skills that drive a collaborative mindset. CSTS, First Aid, and Ground Disturbance required. Transportation to and from jobs is a must. Clean and Valid drivers license and driver’s abstract is required.

Traveling to various locations, ensure build is completed as per build prints. Supervise in loading and unloading of equipment and materials. Document and complete all job-related paperwork as well as tailgate and safety meetings. Delegate all construction activities to crew members. Coordinate on-site material requirements and effectively manage site materials. Maintain and update project schedules daily. Review and understand project schedule /milestones. Reporting to Project Mangers and Field Supervisors.

→Operators
- Track hoe’s, Backhoe’s, Skid steers and Digger trucks. Minimum 1 year experience in shallow utilities industry. Operates in a safe and responsible manner. Ability to read build prints and carry out work effectively. Work in all weather conditions. Ground Disturbance and first aid required. A clean and valid drivers license and transportation is a must. Drivers Abstract is required. Criminal record check maybe be required at certain sites. Ground disturbance required.

→Laborer
- Must have a clean and valid drivers license and own transportation. You must be able to follow instructions, be able to work with others as well as yourself. Provide support to the lead hand, foreman and Operators in construction of underground utilities. This requires physical work such as pulling cable and conduit, placing vaults, bases and peds. Setting streetlights and streetlight bases, training conduit and cable, sanding, and other related activities. Work in all weather conditions.

→ Laborers (skilled and non-skilled)

**Salary**: $20.00-$34.00 per hour
