Location: Kitchener, Ontario

**Salary**: $40.10 - $49.35 per hour. Start rate will be commensurate with education and experience. Salary progression based on merit.

**Job Summary & Responsibilities**:
The Crew Chief will be responsible to the Base Engineer and/or Production Manager and ultimately the Director of Maintenance to supervise the completion of the scheduled and unscheduled work as assigned on a daily basis.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Must hold a valid AME license and be in good standing with Transport Canada
- 2 years of Aircraft maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory experience an asset
- Previous experience with Westwind 1124A, Navajo Chieftain and Metro/Merlin, aircraft an asset
- Previous experience with Aircraft Maintenance Systems (AMS) an asset
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude & excellent troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to work with Company policies and procedures and support a safety culture
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul and alteration of aircraft and aeronautical products
- Monitoring aircraft inspections, repair and modification processes, and the quality of shop and/or work performed by external agencies
- Report all major modifications to the Director of Maintenance
- Assist in the management of AMO staff and equipment
- Assist in ensuring that sufficient parts, materials, special tools and equipment are available to accomplish the maintenance tasks
- Ensure the condition and cleanliness of the workplace and equipment is maintained
- All pink sheets pulled from logbooks and AMS times updated
- All maintenance entries and work orders complete and in appropriate box
- All parts required entered on the requisition list and work orders created to match
- Completed work description filled out in the communication book
- Update other departments on aircraft availability
- Train & mentor Apprentice AME’s
