- Establish, develop and maintain open relationships by regularly interacting with each resident
- Responsible for responding to all student concerns relating the living arrangements
- Responsible for providing support and guidance on setting up units and assisting students with understanding residence life
- Responsible for providing an overview of student rules and responsibilities within the residence and promoting academics and lifestyle balance
- Responsible for holding regular residence meetings to discuss student needs
- Respond to and provide assistance during residence emergencies or student crisis
- Participates in student orientation to build relationships with all students
- Responsible for checking in on students on a regular basis to ensure their well-being
- Responsible for ensuring students are maintaining units appropriately - Bringing any issues with student units to the Facilities Manager for actioning
- Responsible for overseeing student common areas in the residence
- Responsible for enforcing residence guidelines including: visitors/guests, noise levels, illegal drug/alcohol use, smoking and cleanliness
- Encourage students to understand safety issues and concerns in and out of residence
- Responsible for ensuring common spaces (hallways, stairways doorways etc.) are clean and functional
- Responsible for ensuring building exterior remains clean, this includes snow/ice removal in the winter, garbage removal etc.
- Responsible for documenting all meetings with students and any student exchanges that need to be elevated to NS management
- Attend NS staff meetings
- Participate in mandatory team social and events
- Encourage idea sharing, team building and a positive residence life
- Responsible for documenting all safety/emergency incidents

**Salary**: From $3,500.00 per month
