Our fast-paced, multi-doctor rheumatology/arthritis medical clinic, Newmarket Rheumatology Consultants Inc., is seeking a permanent, full-time, experienced medical receptionist to join our team.

- **Responsibilities**_

Perform reception duties 36-38 hours weekly as required.

Reception duties include but not limited to:

- conducting patient check in/out including appointment scheduling
- verifying and updating patient demographic information in Accuro EMR
- answering/returning telephone calls, handling patient inquiries in a professional manner
- faxing and filing in Accuro EMR
- sending referrals for specialist appointments and dictated letters

Experience with Accuro EMR is an asset, but thorough training will be provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newmarket, ON L3Y 5G8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
