Brampton, Canada Kennedy Road Veterinary Hospital Full time

Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Collect and update client information in the database
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Process payments and handle financial transactions

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling, record keeping, etc.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment is a plus
- Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $16.55-$17.55 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 35 per week
