On behalf of our client, Corrcoat Services Inc., a dynamic and growing organization with a commitment to Safety and Service is searching for a Controller to join their team. Corrcoat is one of Canada’s leading providers of protective coatings and linings. With offices in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, and over 40,000 Sq.
Ft. of production area, Corrcoat’s clients use their services for everything from coating and lining facilities to vacuum blasting and high-water jetting. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be an integral part of the financial team; they will be relied on to provide key financial information and reports in a timely and efficient manner to better allow management to make informed decisions. This position is a leadership position and will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting practices while training and mentoring junior staff. The Controller will be the go

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for the day-to-day accounting practices.
- Manage the execution and delivery of all internal and external reporting.
- Prepare and submit all tax remittances.
- Prepare and maintains financial metrics for reporting.
- Develops regular cash flow and operating forecasts throughout the year.
- Perform job costing for materials, labour, and overhead, and entering adjustments as required.
- Posting of entries to the General Ledger as required.
- Reconcile G/L accounts as assigned.
- Review and analyze quotes, sales orders, approve customer invoices, customer payments, and lead collection activities.
- Review and analyze purchase orders, receiving of goods, vendor invoices, and approve payments.
- Oversee the year-end inventory process.
- Timely processing of expense reports and mileage.
- Supervision of payroll.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- CPA designation with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience.
- 3+ years of full accounting cycle experience.
- Established background with job costing, inventory, and capital assets.
- Demonstrated hands on experience with payroll.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Fabricating or Construction background an asset.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships based on trust and integrity.
- Demonstrated leadership background with the ability to communicate financial information and influence positive change.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical skills & follow up.
- Good energy and sound judgement are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft products, specifically Excel.
