- Full Time**Position Overview**:
The Nuclear Analyst plays a key technical role in the performance of projects within the Calian Nuclear team. The analyst is able to support technical projects in the core areas of the group: nuclear safety and licensing, environmental protection, and emergency preparedness.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform and support scientific and technical project work for Calian Nuclear’s clients;
- Support the development of high-quality technical reports and documents;
- Act as a resource to the Director in support of developing business opportunities and proposals;
- Provide support to Project Managers as required, including reporting to clients, reviewing the work of project team members and subcontractors, and supervising project team members.
- Ensure all project deliverables are developed and maintained in accordance with the Calian Nuclear Quality Management System (QMS); and
- Participate, as part of a project team, in conducting technical analyses

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree in Engineering, Science, or other relevant discipline;
- 1-4 years experience in the nuclear industry;
- Experience and proficiency in writing technical documents;
- Ability to think independently and provide insight and solutions to complex problems;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to adapt to changing project and client requirements;
- Team player, able to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team;

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must be eligible for a secret-level government security clearance. A current Government of Canada Secret clearance is an asset; and
- Eligibility to register as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is an asset
