**Job description**:
Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

**Job Type**: 4 Months contract with possible extension

Hours: 40

**Frontenac Youth Services is a non-profit Mental Health Agency which has been providing assistance to adolescents (12-18 years) and their families within the Durham Region since 1972.**

**We are currently looking for Child and Youth Workers to work in our Day Treatment Programs.**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Child and Youth Worker or similar diploma (at least in second year of the program)
- Previous experience working in children's mental health
- Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- ** Valid Class G driver’s license with acceptable driving record, 3 years of experience, and access to a reliable vehicle is a must**:

- Valid Standard First Aid/CPR Certification (Or willing to obtain)
- Employment with Frontenac Youth Services requires a pre-employment Medical Certificate and up-to-date immunizations, including government-issued proof of full vaccination for COVID-19, or a valid human rights exemption.
