Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account and Financial Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. You will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the company's financial performance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
- Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions to senior managers.
- Monitor and review financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting principles and regulations.
- Oversee the company's cash flow, managing working capital and making recommendations to optimize liquidity.
- Coordinate the financial planning and budget process, and analyze and correct estimates.
- Conduct financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and business growth.
- Notify and report to senior management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.

Accounting and Reporting:

- Manage the accounting function, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Coordinate and oversee external audits, ensuring compliance and timely completion of audit processes.
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and maintain data integrity. Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, providing guidance and support in financial decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare financial forecasts and projections, assessing potential risks and opportunities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Manage and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the finance team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equal relevant degree in finance, accounting, business management.
- Proven experience 3 years in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of successfully managing accounting and financial functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in using financial management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Wages and Working Conditions:
Hourly rate will be $37.00 CAD and you will work 8 hours per day and 40 Hours per week. If there is additional work done by you then over time will be paid as per Provincial Labor Standard.

Enforcement of agreement: Both parties agree that this contract is conditional upon obtaining a valid work permit pursuant to the Immigration Regulation.

Period (Duration) of contract: 2-years Annual paid vacation: You will be entitled to 10 days of paid vacation which shall be paid in semi-monthly salary. Joining time: As soon as possible.

Lunch break: The Employee shall be entitled to one hour of unpaid lunch break and two ten minutes unpaid coffee breaks.

Weekly off: The employee shall be entitled to 2 days off per week, which will be as per employer’s discretion. Travel Expense, Relocation, Transportation.
