Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about cooking and looking to contribute to a dynamic restaurant environment.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate personnel
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries as needed
- **Qualifications**:_
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
