**Position overview**

Have you had experience driving adoption of new technology and bringing new products to market?

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Develop and refine the innovation program strategy to ensure its alignment with the organization's long-term goals and objectives
- Take charge of researching, identifying, developing, implementing, and commercializing products and services and conduct evaluations and assessments of emerging technologies
- Take the lead in negotiating commercial deals, including defining the structure and essential terms for all commercially viable products
- Research funding opportunities and lead the submission of proposals
- Manage complex budgets and meet the financial reporting requirements set forth from funding sources

**Key qualifications include**:

- At least 10 years of relevant business experience, supplemented by a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- Chartered Professional Accountant Designation
- Knowledge of software and technology development to support solution design
- Previous budgeting experience and financial skills are an asset
