**Lotta Adventures Limited **is seeking Operators to join our team in Sydney, NS.

**Position Summary**:
The Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the company's vehicles and the safe delivery of goods and services to customers. This position will be responsible for assisting the driver with loading, unloading, and pre-delivery inspection of vehicles. The Operator will also assist in preparing and maintaining the inventory of the vehicles, including cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior of each vehicle. The Operator will report to the Fleet Manager.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Perform pre-delivery inspections on all vehicles prior to each delivery to customer.
- Ensure that all vehicle keys are returned to the delivery team upon completion of a delivery.
- Ensure that all signs, tickets, and tickets of entry are recorded on a daily basis for each delivery.
- Assist in maintaining the inventory of the vehicles, including cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior of each vehicle. The inventory is maintained at all times with a minimum of 2-3 employees in this position.
- Report any maintenance or repairs to the Fleet Manager immediately for follow up and resolution.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles on a daily basis, ensuring that all necessary parts are accounted for and available for use. Maintain a clean interior and exterior of the vehicle at all times.
- Provide timely responses to customer concerns regarding their vehicle as they occur. Maintain an open communication with customers regarding vehicle concerns; accept all requests for repairs without regard to cost.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred. College Degree preferred.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check including verification of eligibility; drug screening; and physical exam. Must possess or be able to obtain valid Driver’s License; Valid Motor Vehicle Insurance; and a clean driving record.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as required; ability to follow oral and written instructions in English; ability to work at a fast pace; ability to use a GPS device; ability to use an iPad computer; knowledge of how cars drive and operate; knowledge of how cars operate and where fuel is stored; ability to use a smartphone or other electronic data system; ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner; ability to handle a high volume of customer requests; ability to problem solve; ability to work independently as well as within a team environment; ability to deal effectively with customers in all levels of management; strong time management skills; strong interpersonal skills; high level of customer service skills; basic math skills necessary for tracking miles and mileage logged out route maintenance requests etc.; high level of responsibility required; must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds without assistance.; must be able carry up-to 50 pounds with assistance throughout an 8 hour shift.; must be able push up-to 50 pounds with assistance throughout an 8 hour shift.; must be able stand up/walk around facility during work hours.; must be able stand/walk throughout entire day (shifts up-to 12 hours); must be able speak/read Spanish/Portuguese.)'

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
