Working in partnership with utilities, governments, Indigenous Nations, and other industry partners we reduce energy poverty, accelerate decarbonization, and improve housing in traditionally underserved communities across Canada and the United States. Kambo delivers three in-house programs: Empower Me, Community Power, and the Home Upgrades Program.

Empower Me delivers multilingual education, support, and coaching services to ensure underrepresented communities have access to energy, climate, and home retrofit programs.

Community Power supports Indigenous Nations to build, renovate, and improve community housing.

Home Upgrades Program provides fully subsidized energy retrofits to improve affordability for households living in energy poverty.

About the opportunity:
**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with Partnership Managers and Project Operations Leads to develop objectives, timelines, milestones, resource management plans and budget estimate for proposals.
- Support project execution team to ensure projects are delivered according to scope, quality, standards, and budget.
- Facilitate change management requirements.
- Facilitate resource management across projects.
- Monitor, track and report project KPI’s to project team.
- Regularly report on and track project financials.
- Identify, monitor, track and resolve risks and issues.
- Ensure time tracking and expense management are executed within the project requirements.
- Evaluate project outcomes to continuously improve processes and communication.
- Define project and communication standards and ensure adherence through the project life cycle.
- Define and maintain a library of relevant templates for project management, financial estimating and tracking, and internal & external communication.
- Define and maintain best practices for project management.
- Facilitate recurring project meetings.
- Ensure consistent communication between internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years’ proven experience in project management, preferably with a background in consulting projects
- Excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated interest in and passion for energy systems and/or sustainability.
- Demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of diverse communities and organizations.
- Strong critical thinking skills to distinguish standards from customized requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt between overseeing deliverables and resources to taking a hands-on approach to executing tasks when needed.
