Ferreira Flooring is a hardwood installation company located in Hamilton, ON. We are looking for an installer and helper to join our growing team Established in 2020, we are growing rapidly and are looking for team players who want to join an awesome team.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION**:

- **INSTALLERS MUST HAVE MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE**:

Job Description: Flooring Installer

**Responsibilities**:

- Install various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area
- Prepare the subfloor by cleaning, leveling, and removing any existing flooring or debris
- Lay out the flooring pattern and ensure proper alignment and spacing
- Use tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns to install flooring materials
- Trim and finish the edges of the flooring for a clean and professional look
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments or repairs

**Skills**:

- Experience in flooring installation is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans or installation instructions
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and aligning flooring materials
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working on knees for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity in using tools and equipment
- Good problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges during the installation process

**Salary**: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
