New Directions is a social service agency offering a wide range of resources and services that foster people’s hopes and dreams in their communities.

Family Therapy Services is one of the many services offered by New Directions. We are currently seeking two (2) Family Outreach Facilitators to join our team.

This role is responsible for providing supports and coordination of in-home or community-based supports for families and individuals supported in the Bridge Pilot Program as well as the Family Therapy Services Team. This position assists with facilitating a connection to clinical and community resources to support individuals and their families; as well as offering consultation to assist clinical staff in carrying out the individual/family support plans. Liaises with systems and coordinates supports for families. Maintains all related documentation and paperwork.

**Duties include**:

- Providing trauma informed, culturally sensitive support to families with children under the age of 18 both on site and in the community
- Facilitating individual, family, and parenting groups
- Presenting workshops
- Working with larger systems to co-ordinate services and develop programming
- Maintain all related documentation and paperwork

**Qualifications Include**:

- Undergraduate degree in Social Work or a related field
- Familiarity with working with families and children with disabilities
- Experience supporting families in the community
- Familiarity with attachment theory and related interventions
- Ability to work effectively within in a systemic framework
- Experience working with families involved with multiple systems
- Willingness to engage in community partnerships
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Access to a vehicle would be considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $21.74-$30.46 per hour
