**Position Overview**
The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization is adhering to established and effective financial policies, procedures and controls. This position requires a self-motivated professional who is efficient and adept at identifying and implementing solutions to improving financial effectiveness. Key functions include receivables, payables, banking, account reconciliation, and reporting. Must ensure strictest level of confidentiality.

**Role of the Finance Manager**

**Essential Duties of Position**:

- Supervision of Finance and Payroll staff.
- Support budget and forecasting process.
- Maintain complete and accurate supporting information.
- Assist with monthly closings, journal entries, account analysis and reports.
- Maintain Funder project folders.
- Assist with Audits.
- Reconcile cash advances.
- Assist and train staff on financial procedures.
- Prepare physical and remote deposits.
- Post payments into Quickbooks accounting / reporting system.
- Reconcile bank statements for all bank accounts.
- Generate program and service invoices and monthly billing for YWCA programs.
- Produce monthly Aging reports for Managers and Directors.
- Process credit card and pre-authorized debit payments and donations.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Undergraduate degree in accounting and minimum five years financial management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial management.
- Strong administrative skills, an ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective interpersonal, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- High level of computer literacy. (O365, Quickbooks, Rotessa, DEXT, Aprroval Max, Plooto)
- Understanding of Government and Regulatory requirements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
