Business Analyst

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Lead the assessment of business needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommend options, risks, and cost vs. benefits
- Analyze the solution’s viability to meet project timelines and quality. Recommend alternative solutions that meet business needs
- Support one or more complex business processes, requiring integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business
- Provide high-quality analytical solutions for the key stakeholders
- To increase the business value, collaborate with the product owner to create the product backlog by using Agile practices
- Provide user stories to multi-disciplinary teams and define the business-driven acceptance criteria
- Support Agile practices and encourage the improvement of service
- Facilitate various Agile processes such as Iteration / Release Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospective, Sprint Review, Daily Stand-up
- Present low or high-fidelity prototypes accordingly.
- Working with various vendors and project delivery teams, ensuring a solution has reasonable, solid, well-written requirements that allow IS delivery teams to create solutions that align with the requirements
- Work with business partners and vendors to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Build relationships, work collaboratively, and resolve problems with people at all levels in the organization
- Support all technical teams throughout all phases of the project
- Drive end-to-end delivery working with the integrated development and QA teams, ensuring delivery stays on track and defects are resolved promptly
**Qualifications, Skills and Attributes**:
- Undergraduate degree in a technical area of study (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- 3 - 4 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- 2+ years of experience with technical/Business analysis and Systems integrations
- A good understanding of CRM systems is also considered an asset
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and UML tools
- Ability to write basic SQL queries for solving problems and analyzing data
- Experience analyzing and creating requirements around REST APIs, JSON responses are ideal
- Ability to effectively communicate with business and technical staff and provide leadership in managing issues
- Excellent decision-making, verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with external vendors
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and do whatever it takes for a successful delivery of a project
**Salary**: $100,860.59-$209,687.97 per year
