Job Title: Travel Operations Coordinator

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Position Type: Full-time

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize and oversee logistics for assigned trips.
- Research, contact and negotiate with suppliers such as hotels, buses, restaurants, and activities in destinations as required.
- Manage budgets and projections for each assigned trip.
- Enter relevant information into Trip Manager database and generate itineraries and quotes based on costs.
- Manage all bookings for assigned trips.
- Provide confirmations and payment information to Tour Guides.
- Be available and on-call during all assigned trips.
- Manage and reconcile trip costs and accounting and debrief with Tour Guides.
- Communicate with and manage clients for assigned trips.
- Assist with parent information evenings.
- Develop trip itineraries and proposals to suit the needs of school groups and school boards when required.
- Create and assemble pre-departure materials.
- Develop and manage 1-day events.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of experience in the travel industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong negotiation abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to travel when required.
- Valid Passport.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Toronto, ON M6P 0B2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Travel Industry: 2 years (preferred)
