Our company is looking for a Maintenance Shop Coordinator. The job holder is required to maintain our MaintenanceCare software and all inventory that exists in the shop.
- Responsibilities_
- Maintain and update the MaintenanceCare software to ensure accurate recording of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the IT department to address any software issues or updates.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for all parts and supplies within the maintenance shop.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to track usage, identify discrepancies, and reorder supplies as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Receive and process requests for parts from technicians, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Issue parts to technicians based on work orders, ensuring proper documentation and recording in the MaintenanceCare software.
- Coordinate with technicians to understand their specific needs and provide support in locating and procuring required parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment for efficient workflow.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with the maintenance team, supervisors, and other relevant departments to address any issues related to inventory or software functionality.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, parts usage, and shop activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving efficiency and reducing costs.

- Requirements_
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus.
- Proven experience in maintenance shop coordination or a related field.
- Familiarity with MaintenanceCare software or similar maintenance management systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
