Hourly Wage: $22/hour
Employment Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Term: 1-Year Contract, possibility of extension

**Summary**:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Thrift Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our thrift store. As the Thrift Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of the store by managing staff, implementing effective merchandising strategies, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly wage of $22/hour and includes eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package.
**Responsibilities**:
**Store Operations**:Oversee all aspects of the thrift store's daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. This includes opening and closing procedures, cash management, donation processing, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
**Staff Management**:Hire, train, and schedule store staff. Provide ongoing coaching and support to the team, fostering a positive work environment. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure productivity and teamwork.
**Customer Service**:Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service to all shoppers.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, striving to enhance the overall shopping experience.
**Merchandising**:Develop and implement effective visual merchandising strategies to create appealing displays and optimize product visibility. Regularly update displays and arrange products to attract customers and drive sales.
**Sales and Marketing**:Develop and implement sales promotions to attract more customers and increase sales. Manage social media accounts for the store to build awareness and drive foot traffic to the store as well as respond to customer social media interactions.
**Financial Management**:Prepare and manage the thrift store budget, tracking sales, expenses, and profits. Identify areas of improvement and implement cost-effective measures to achieve financial targets.
**Compliance**:Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and employee hours.
**Safety and Security**:Maintain a safe and secure store environment for both customers and staff. Implement safety procedures and address any potential hazards promptly.
**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail management, thrift store management, or a similar industry.
**Leadership Skills**:Strong leadership and team management abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide staff to achieve goals.
**Customer Focus**:Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for providing a positive shopping experience.
**Organizational Skills**:Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and store operations efficiently.
**Communication**:Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with customers, staff, and management.
**Social Media Savvy**:Ability to manage social media and create engaging content.
**Problem-Solving**:Ability to identify issues and resolve problems promptly and efficiently.
**Financial Acumen**:Basic understanding of financial management, budgeting, and sales analysis.
**Flexibility**:Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays.
**Physical Stamina**:Able to stand, walk, and lift moderately heavy items during work hours.
**Benefits**:
- Hourly rate of $22 per hour
- 37.5 hour work week
- General schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, however the Store Manager may need to work a flexible schedule in order to cover evening or weekend shifts. The store is open Monday-Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-6pm.
