**Job Details**:

- Location: 400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.
- Hourly Wage: $30-31 for experienced flatbed driver with forklift (preferably moffett experience)
- Benefits: Company-paid group medical, dental and insurance.

**Job Duties**:

- Truck Drivers will operate a truck and trailer and occasionally straight trucks to transport and deliver goods to construction sites and pickup materials as required.
- May be required to load and unload truck. Drivers may be required to use automated routing equipment.
- Responsible for compliance with hours of service (logs), cargo securement, weights and dimensions and vehicle inspections
- Inspect vehicles, equipment and load at start of day, enroute and after delivery, to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order (circle check)
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
- Report vehicle defects, repairs requirements, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, e-logs, and cell phones to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
- Record and maintain required documentation including driver logbook, bills of lading, etc. by manual or electronic means
- Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form
- Clean-up any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck
- Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.

**Requirements**:

- AZ driver's license with a **minimum of 3 years flatbed experience**:

- Lift truck experience (Moffett preferred but will train on Moffett if required)
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Computer Literate
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
- Strong work ethic and personal integrity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work under mínimal supervision.

**Work Conditions**:

- Travel required within Ontario
- Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals (e-log training required)
- Able to work overtime as required (Weekend work may be required)
- Ability to lift 100 pounds with assistance
