**Position Description**

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Fiber Mill Services, the temporary Fleet Supervisor will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe working environment. Your expertise in Fibre Mill operations and management will be crucial in meeting production goals.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of five technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Lead the accurate record keeping of vehicle and equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections using the Avantis asset management system
- Lead the process of Coordinating vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure fleet availability meets operational demands
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in fleet management technology

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Proven experience as a mechanical supervisor or similar role
- Training or experience in the mechanical trades or engineering is an asset
- Experience working in a unionized setting is an asset
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Benefits**
- The Salary Range for this position is $80.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
