We have partnered with a well established mid sized Toronto Personal Injury law firm that are looking for a lawyer that has experience representing plaintiffs.

Personal Injury Attorney Job Duties (Plaintiff side)
- Communicating with insurance companies and medical providers to obtain records
and update information
- Interviewing clients to understand their case’s details, identifying issues, and
determining a strategy for settlement or trial
- Drafting legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement
offers
- Negotiating settlements with the other party’s attorney on behalf of clients
- Preparing cases for trial by interviewing witnesses, acquiring evidence such as
medical records, and conducting investigations
- Helping clients prepare for mediation sessions or settlement conferences with
opposing counsel
- Educating clients about their legal rights and responsibilities throughout the
process
- Preparing and filing court documents such as complaints or motions
- Representing clients in court proceedings such as trials or hearings regarding
personal injury cases

**Requirements**:

- LL.B or JD
- Member in good standing with LSO
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in personal injury law

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$118,467.68 per year
