**Position Overview**:
**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 License and drivers abstract is needed for interview. Class 3 with air an asset.
- Previous construction equipment experience, related to industry preferred.
- Safely and skillfully operates a Wirtgen cold milling machine following all standard equipment procedures.
- Responsible for proper usage of grade control devices.
- Responsible for daily inspection and replacement of milling teeth on the milling drum to assure proper cutting patterns on pavement surfaces.
- Must maintain an acute sense of awareness to the surrounding footprint of the machine (watch for obstructions while operating the equipment, such as ground utilities, curb and gutters).
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintain accurate records.
- Follow company operating safety policies and procedures.
- Complete operators logbook & daily vehicle inspection (pre-trip, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, accident or incident reports
- Perform routine cleaning, greasing and fueling of equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- 1 year of construction experience, experience in a labour-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment interview and testing
- Will be part of a team that will be required to move from job site to job site on an as needed basis.
- Capable of working variable shifts with extended hours.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
