We are seeking a Billing Coordinator to join the People Corporation team in Winnipeg.

As a member of the Billing and Data Administration team, the Billing Coordinator is responsible to provide accurate, timely, and relevant information to internal and external stakeholders of the company.

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Billing and Data Administration functions including but not limited to: client billing, claims invoicing, carrier remittances, broker remittances, and month end preparation.

**The Billing Coordinator will**:

- Perform batch based electronic entries and adjustments.
- Day to day management of client billing inquires.
- Prepare and process carrier and broker remittances; distribute the necessary reports.
- Prepare and distribute carrier claims invoices.
- Manage all client bill runs and distribution.
- Manage all agency statement runs and distribution.
- Communicate regularly with client service team, Sales and distribution team as it relates to client billing, carrier, and broker remittances.
- Ad-hoc reporting and problem solving.

**T**o be successful **as a** **Billing Coordinator** with People Corporation, you will need**:

- Medium to Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large amounts of data and existing spreadsheets and tracking documents.
- Commitment to meeting objectives and required timelines.
- Adaptable; actively embraces and manages change.
- Ability to liaise effectively with various levels of management as well as ability to establish relationships with external suppliers and customers.
- Ability to work well within a team and displays a collaborative attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and manage routine and non-routine tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- A critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- A high level of productivity while ensuring standards are upheld.
- Sensitivity to confidential information
**- Insurance industry experience especially group benefit.
- Experience using SAGE 300 and/or ACCPAC software.
- Knowledge in using database management tool, such as Power BI and/or SQL
