Food and Beverage Server

Smitty’s Restaurant Cochrane is currently seeking several applicants to join our frontline, including patio servers. This is a customer-facing role, so a positive attitude and friendly demeanor are valued requirements. Servers come to work with a team mindset and attitude that will enable them to work well with coworkers while independently providing exceptional customer service to our guests. The goal is to enhance and preserve our reputation with quality customer service to promote repeat business.

The hours of work will vary depending upon operational needs, which include evenings and weekends. The position will include but not limited to the following tasks:

- Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Engage with customers and other staff in a friendly manner
- Familiarize the Menus and Daily Specials in order to answer any questions and offer any food suggestions to guests
- Keep an eye on your tables in order to assist them and take initiative to provide them with extra service as required

**Patio Server Duties**:

- Set up, maintain, and clean patio area for outdoor dining experience
- Ensure that all patio furniture is clean, organized, and properly positioned
- Provide attentive outdoor guest service by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and attending to requests promptly
- Monitor weather conditions closely in case of any sudden changes or guest needs related to the weather

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Able to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available weekends
- Serving experience is preferred but not required; we are more than happy to train you if necessary
- Proserve required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-35 per week

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Casual dining restaurant
