Accounting Technician

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
Are you a person who is well versed in invoicing sales orders, participating in month-end tasks and supporting accounts payable? Do you want to put this experience to good use by playing a key role in a team?
We are currently looking for an accounting technician who will be responsible for invoicing customer orders.
You will also be called upon to play a role in the implementation and improvement of the processes and work tools of your department.
Reporting to the Controller, your main tasks will be to participate in the regular accounts receivable and payable activities.
Here's an overview of your tasks:
- Management of accounts receivable
- Issue and transmit invoices and statements to customers
- Produce various types of reports
- Contribute to the evolution and optimization of the position's processes
- Proceed to the coding and registration of invoices in the system and make the payment
- Verify and reconcile statements of account, address discrepancies to various parties and ensure follow-up
- Communicate with suppliers
- Perform all other related tasks
**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
- DEC in accounting, administration or equivalent training
- 3 years experience in a similar position
- Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite
- Analytical mind and ability to synthesize
- Organizational skills, autonomy, resourcefulness
- Excellent ability to work in a team
- Comfortable with change management and strong ability to adapt
