Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems and Receivables, the Business Analyst ensures system, data, and process best practices are adhered to.

The Business Analyst is a high level functional expert and capable of acting as team lead on projects, as well as assisting with the training of less experienced staff.

Rate of Pay: $34.71 per hour - $43.40 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
- Successful completion of Formal Process Improvement Training preferred
- Successful completion of Project Management Program, Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) or Chartered Professional Accountant preferred
- Two (2) years recent related experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing process re-design
- Proficient knowledge of regulatory, management and financial accounting standards (e.g. MIS, GAAP)
- Advanced understanding of technology and business risk and controls within a financial environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written
- Possess strong organizational skills while ensuring attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to research and assimilate a large quantity of diverse information
- Proficient skills in process-centric thinking
- Advanced ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in dealing effectively with ambiguity
- Proficient in conducting formal education/training session, and presentations
- Advanced relationship building skills
- Proficient in meeting and workgroup facilitation
- Advanced ability to thoughtfully share knowledge and expertise with a variety of users at various skillsets
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Mission, Vision and Values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
