An active member of the Corporate PMO Centre of Expertise. You are a result driven person that understands the value of team work. You will be responsible for coordinating and performing certain value-added activities that are associated with the management of all capital project portfolios (Information Technology, Equipment, Real Estate, Infrastructure). The Advisor will also be involved in the optimization, deployment and support of certain corporate project management processes. This person will work closely with various partners.
Improve processes/methods and coordinate various value-added activities at the Corporate Project Management Office
- Take charge of special mandates regarding the improvement of various processes at the Corporate Project Management Office.
- Manage the prioritization process, monitor and report on the advancement of improvements to the CPMO’s processes/methods.
- Manage change during the implementation of improvements through communication, training and expectation management for all affected stakeholders.

Monitor, coordinate and support governance of corporate project management
- Responsible for the coordination, monitoring and compliance of capital investment and business case prioritization tools and processes.
- Work together with various departments to prepare documentation and information needed for prioritization activities and business case issuance.
- Ensure compliance of governance established by the Corporate PMO for sections that will be identified.

Prepare and interpret project portfolio reports and documents for the C-Suite and the Board of Directors
- Collect/consolidate the information needed to prepare quality reports and deliver them on time. Create effective and meaningful reports that enable stakeholders to identify risks, trends and exceptions.
- Analyze performance indicators and incorporate information to present value-added reports that allow for divisional operations to be improved.
- Coordinate and assemble reports for the C-Suite and the Board of Directors to facilitate decision-making.
- Develop value-added indicators to monitor the health of portfolios.

Community of practice
- Participate in developing the community of practice
- Propose, prepare and coordinate communication material and discussion forums to train and inform the community of practice.
- Participate actively in the training of community members.
Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration or information technology. Training or proficiency in project management is an asset.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in project or portfolio management - for example: project governance, dashboard management/project performance and related tools; a combination of experience and training will be considered.
- Experience in developing, deploying or improving corporate processes, as well as in change management.
- Knowledge of PMI project management reference document is an asset.
- Experience with and knowledge of project management tools, such as SharePoint Online and Project Online.
- Proficiency in the Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word.
- PMP certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of Power BI is an asset.
