**The Big Picture - this position in TSSA**

Reporting to the Supervisor - Workforce Planning, this position supports the Workforce Planning Associates with their daily assignments, training, and L3 Customer Support. This position
- The Workforce Planning department is responsible for optimizing labour allocation to align with the inspection needs of the three (3) major Regulatory Programs administered by TSSA (Elevating, Amusement and Ski Program, Boilers and Pressure Vessels, Operating Engineers and the Fuels Program). It supports public safety by effectively and efficiently scheduling TSSA’s Inspection Workforce. As Coordinator, Workforce Planning you will conduct Data Analysis, reporting and clean data deficiencies. You will monitor and provide oversight and recommendations to improve processes and maintain corporate targets. You will liaise with various departments on a regular basis to develop and maintain partnership reliability.
- You will deliver effective and efficient services by organizing and scheduling workday of team members (including shift, attendance and vacations schedules) to enhance workload management. You are expected to contribute to a workplace environment conducive to a high performing team by maintaining positive professional relationships with all members of the TSSA team, sharing expertise and best-practices, provide training and development to team members

**What you will do?**
- Manage and resolve L3 Escalations through to resolution including cross-departmental consultation and collaboration
- Monitor shared and accountable processes for quality gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend process changes and enhancements that will benefit customer satisfaction and reduce process lead time.
- Execute root cause analysis to identify issues and recommend solutions to both our customers and program areas.
- Act on departmental reports by reviewing and analyzing data for deficiencies, resolving discrepancies using established procedures to update or cleanse data.
- Monitor data integrity within the business system, enforce data governance rules, and take corrective action
- Utilize foundational business knowledge and operational experience to participate in strategic initiatives and business plan activities. (OASIS, New Business Model)

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Post-Secondary Degree / Diploma
- 5 - 8 years of experience within shared services, preferably in a program support associate role
- Exceptional Customer relationship management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- High degree of accuracy with data entry (alpha and numeric)
- A proven understanding of the Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000, associated regulations, and policies and procedures
- Technical competencies (e.g., office management practices and procedures)
- Advanced computer skills including Oracle and Microsoft Suite (i.e. CRM Dynamics, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word)
