This position will be in our head office, located at Welland, ON.
**Position / Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate**
**Job Overview**
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for processing, vendor invoices, credit memos and payments. Monitoring Company credit card usage and reconciliations as well as processing inventory returns to vendors.
**Responsibilities and Duties will be as mentioned but not limited to**:
- Represent QuartzCo as a leader in the Ontario stone installation and fabrication industry
- Post business transactions, process invoices, verify and maintain financial data.
- Select vendor invoices to be paid in accordance with company policy and terms.
- Maintain various listings including reconciling outstanding balance statements
- Additional duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- A self-starter who is well organized, detail oriented, and can work independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage documentation
- An understanding of basic AP/invoicing/accounting concepts
- A minimum of 1-3 years of recent office administration experience
- A university or college degree or specific relevant work experience is preferred
- Quickbooks experience is preferred or similar system experience.
- Open to - Part Time Permanent (requires coordination with other part time associates)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
