This position will be in our head office, located in Welland.

**Job Overview**

As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be the primary lead in the day-to-day functions of accounts receivable, client billings and collections.

Responsibilities and Duties will be as mentioned but not limited to:

- Proactive highlighting of potential collection issues through monitoring of payment activities, liaison with customer facing co-workers, and direct customer engagement.
- Oversee sale/deposit activities for several remote locations. Perform head office deposit activities. Assist accounting team in A/R related accounting activities
- Review and report on order book, sales and receivable balances. Participate in regular (weekly) sales/operations meetings. Present order book, sales, AR information by customer/sales representative. Liaison with sales reps and business managers on issues.
- Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- A self-starter who is well organized and detail oriented
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage documentation
- An understanding of basic billing/invoicing/accounting concepts
- College degree/diploma in business/accounting or specific relevant work experience is preferred. High school graduation required
- QuickBooks experience is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
