Job Overview:
Professionally and effectively explain treatment options and outcomes to patients based on the Dentist's recommendations.

Ensuring that the treatment plan is being properly accounted for and sending estimates to insurance if applicable.

Booking appointments and following up with patients post-op.

**Duties**:

- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for treatments and procedures
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Explain treatment plans to patients, including costs and payment options
- Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients
- Handle billing and payment processing

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (our office uses Dentrix)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping

We are conveniently located near the Highway 416, 15 minutes from Ottawa and 20 minutes from the Highway 401.

Pay: $23.00-$32.00 per hour
