**About the Role**

The Information TechnologyIntern will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of JCA Technologies. This is a fast-paced position that will require you to provide assistance to internal employees through various forms of communication. Overall, you will assist and contribute to the IT department’s day-to-day analysis tasks and team projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Assisting with IT set up, maintenance, and support for new and existing users.
- Maximize the use of technology to support operational and administrative work for the organization.
- Troubleshooting of basic hardware/software issues.
- Assist in light networking duties, including wiring LAN connections for desktops, switches, and wireless access points.
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- User Maintenance within Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Exchange Online, and Atlassian Confluence
- Work with third-party vendors for regular maintenance and warranty items.
- Collaborate with IT team on procedures, policies, and best practices.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory of all hardware and software in use by the company.

**Qualifications**
- Working towards a degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or other related field of study.
- Experience with Microsoft 365.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, including the ability to address issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Confident and comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 3 months

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
