**Responsibilities**:
***Project Management, Application and Database Administration**
- technical assessments to determine requirements, feasibility and effort estimates for baseline customizations, configurations, and system integration points
- Manage individual and group projects to implement new and upgrade existing information systems
- Define the scope of projects in collaboration with IT management
- Collaborate with IT management in project budgeting and cost management
- As required, create project charters, gather, and launch project teams, develop functional scope, business design and requirements, perform gap analysis documentation and/or presentations
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities and review the project schedule with the IT Manager and all other stakeholders affected by the project activities
- Execute and monitor the project according to the project plans, including change management, risk management, and communication management plans, while ensuring continuous alignment with the mission and objectives of the project
- Identify and manage project dependencies and monitor critical path through entire project life cycle
- Manage, track, and advise on technical issues, key performance indicators and metrics that define the overall project health
- Deploy industry-standard testing and deployment methodologies to ensure the highest level of performance, technical and user acceptance testing
- Recommend and lead corrective action based on qualitative and quantitative information to address issue log and any outstanding gaps
- Perform database management, maintenance, and administration including data manipulation, export, import and data migration
- Take ownership of high-risk and critical situations
- Some domestic and international travel

**Communication and Documentation**
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical and user-facing documentation of all systems and processes
- Prepare written progress reports on project status for IT management including evaluating the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase including project financial reports, schedule status, risks, issues, dependencies, barriers to success, and overall project health
- Ensure that project files are properly maintained and kept updated
- Engage and collaborate with all levels of employees, building productive working relationships

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- PMP certification or working towards certification
- SQL certification or working toward certification

**Experience, Skills & Abilities**
- Experience in managing multiple complex ERP project implementations and upgrades using proven project management principles and methodologies.
- Experience managing Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) systems an asset
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Embraces a collaborative work style with management, colleagues, and with cross-functional teams
- Advanced ERP software development or customization experience
- Demonstrable skills using project management software and strong working knowledge of IT project management principles, methodologies, and practices with a focus on software implementations
- Possesses a track record in successfully transitioning to several new and upgraded large-scale multi-discipline systems to support business operations
- Strong skills with SQL database management, data modeling, data optimization and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, physical and virtual Microsoft server management, IIS, and network technologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Ability and willingness to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Capable of translating and communicating technical concepts into practical business terms for all levels of the organization
- Ability to think strategically
- Ability to manage risks
- Embraces emerging technologies
