We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Information Security Analyst to join our IT team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Director, Information Security, you will make the protection of Pattison Food Group Ltd.’s information assets your highest priority through an understanding of security risks and business objectives, while continually looking for opportunities to refine and improve information security.

You will be responsible for:

- Managing, categorizing, and resolving security tickets in a timely manner while focusing on providing a high level of customer service.
- Monitoring security alerts and escalating as required.
- Assisting in creating, updating, and testing of security runbooks.
- Assisting in documenting incident reports, policies, and procedures.
- Keeping abreast of emerging information security threats and how they may be applicable to Pattison Food Group Ltd.
- Leading the tactical actions within other teams to ensure that known security threats are mitigated.
- Assisting with IT incident response including monitoring, detection, investigation, and lessons learned while always assessing and prioritizing based on business risk.
- Ensuring that all published security services processes are understood by all groups.
- Fostering and promoting information security best practices, security awareness, and their value through face-to-face meetings and publishing articles/standards documents.
- Ensuring compliance with external audit, contractual, and legislative requirements regarding information security by taking direct action, partnering with other teams, and/or external partners.
- Articulating the vision of future capabilities within the security services areas using published documents and presentations.

You have:

- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on information security experience. Please note an equivalent combination of information security-based education and experience will be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in either a software development or infrastructure role, working in a large enterprise environment.
- Working experience with/in:

- A major SIEM and EDR products
- Cloud security (i.e., Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Identity and access management
- Incident response
- Automating security controls using API integrations and scripting technology.
- The ability to identify, prioritize, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of IT processes and change management processes.
- Industry respected security certifications (asset).
