**Responsibilities**:
Processing of bi-weekly payroll for multiple union & non-union groups using Ceridian’s Dayforce
Processing of all terminations, inactivations, and adjustments
Respond to queries from Associates, Leaders and external agencies regarding compulsory/company deductions and other items
Contribute to the development of payroll policies and procedures to be stored in the “Payroll” master folder
Processing of all Accounts Payable for payroll-related payments (RSP, Charitable, Union Dues, CNESST, garnishee remittances, etc.)
Assist in preparation and delivery of annual T4’s / RL1’s
Reporting as needed
Assist team members as needed
Other duties as required

Education and Experience
Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification is an asset
1-2 years’ experience in payroll would be an asset
Experience in work with Ceridian required

Technical Requirements
Proficiency with Dayforce-Ceridian, Office 365, reporting
Fully bilingual in French & English
Ability to learn and adapt to changing systems and new technology

Non-Technical Requirements
Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain utmost confidentiality at all times
Excellent listening and telephone skills
Exceptional organizational, planning and time management skills
Ability to work independently and with other Associates in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to work under high pressure and locked-in deadlines
Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and assertiveness
